3月2日，佛光山南天寺與國際佛光會雪梨協會逾200位義工響應「澳洲清潔日」，包括17位義工在臥龍崗區清理南天寺周邊；南區3分會帶領南區佛光童軍86人清理Claydon Reserve Sans Souci地區，西區3分會68位佛光人清潔Parramatta Park，州議員Donna Davis MP也到場支持；北一分會20位義工清理Chatswood公園與附近街道。

On 2 March, over 200 volunteers from Fo Guang Shan Nan Tien Temple and the Buddha's Light International Association (BLIA) Sydney Chapter participated in Clean Up Australia Day. Among them, 17 volunteers cleaned the areas surrounding Nan Tien Temple in Wollongong. Three BLIA South Sub-Chapters led 86 members of the Buddha's Light Scouts in cleaning Claydon Reserve in Sans Souci. Meanwhile, 68 members from three BLIA West Sub-Chapters cleaned Parramatta Park, with Donna Davis MP, State Member for Parramatta, joining to show her support. Additionally, 20 volunteers from the BLIA North 1 Sub-Chapter cleaned Chatswood Park and nearby streets.
