新南威爾斯州Illawarra地區多元文化社區委員會2月27日舉辦「慈善之夜」暨成立50周年慶典，佛光山南天大學董事妙友法師等7人應邀出席，並捐贈佛光山南天寺「一日禪」活動禮券，支持難民安置計畫。MCCI首席執行官Chris Lacey感謝南天寺長期支持，南天寺秉持「以慈善福利社會」理念，持續關懷弱勢群體。

On 27 February, the Multicultural Communities Council of Illawarra (MCCI) hosted a "Charity Night" to mark its 50th anniversary. Venerable Miao You, Board Member of Nan Tien Institute, along with six other representatives from Fo Guang Shan, attended the event. They donated vouchers for Nan Tien Temple's "One-Day Retreat" program to support refugee resettlement efforts. Chris Lacey, CEO of MCCI, thanked Nan Tien Temple for its enduring support. Guided by the principle of "To benefit societies through charitable programs," Nan Tien Temple remains committed to caring for the disadvantaged in communities.
