On 15 November, the Parramatta Chinese Community Leaders’ Roundtable was held at PHIVE. Venerable Chueh Shan, Abbess of Fo Guang Shan Nan Tien Buddhist Temple Parramatta, Daniel Wu, President of the Buddha’s Light International Association (BLIA) Sydney, and Florence Yuen, Director of BLIA Sydney, were among the attendees. Senator the Hon Penny Wong, Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs, highlighted the significant role of Chinese community organisations in Australia’s multicultural society and called for collective efforts to promote social harmony.
