Venerable Jue Fang, General Manager of Hsing Yun Education Foundation, was interviewed on 11 February for "Australia’s Response to COVID-19" project initiated by National Library of Australia. She shared a range of initiatives undertaken by Fo Guang Shan organizations, including Nan Tien Temple, in response to pandemic — in terms of both material resources support and spiritual support, such as online Dharma services and online care groups— illustrating how Fo Guang Shan fulfilled its social mission during the crisis. This record has now become part of Australia’s national historical archive, preserving the important role that religious institutions played in supporting communities throughout the pandemic.
