In mid-September, the Fo Guang community in Sydney came together to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. On 14 and 15 September, Nan Tian Chinese School of Sydney and the Western Sydney Buddha’s Light Scouts hosted lantern painting activities, drawing 104 students, scouts, and parents. Through the creative spirit of “Three Acts of Goodness and Four Givings,” the event fostered cultural exchange and connection.  

On 14 September, Fo Guang Shan Nan Tien Buddhist Temple Chatswood and the BLIA Sydney North 1 Sub-chapter held a “Chan Heart, Moon Rhythms” Mid-Autumn Festival celebration. Nearly 60 attendees, including Venerable Jue Guan, Superintendent of Fo Guang Shan Nan Tien Buddhist Temple Chatswood, and Daniel Wu, President of the BLIA Sydney Chapter, joined in the festivities. The event beautifully blended Buddhist teachings with traditional celebrations, creating a warm atmosphere in the community.
