On 18 December, Fo Guang Shan Nan Tien Temple hosted the 2024 Year-End Gathering, bringing together nearly 60 staff members. The event was attended by Venerable Man Ko, Chief Abbess of Fo Guang Shan Australia and New Zealand, and Venerable Jue Ning, Superintendent of Nan Tien Temple. Venerable Man Ko quoted the Lotus Sutra ’s concept of “The Parable of the Phantom City,” encouraging everyone that, despite coming from different backgrounds, they are united as one family through shared aspirations. The monastic community presented a New Year scroll of the Venerable Master, inscribed with “Keep Going, the Future is Bright,” along with calendars and other tokens of appreciation. Participants expressed how Nan Tien Temple cultivates a warm, family-like environment filled with care and love.
