On 28 October, The Hon. David Coleman MP, Shadow Minister for Communications, wrote to Venerable Man Ko, Chief Abbess of Fo Guang Shan Australia and New Zealand, sharing his 9 October speech in the Federal Parliament recognising Nan Tien Temple’s 30 years of Dharma propagation within the community. The speech highlighted Nan Tien Temple’s role in fostering community harmony and particularly commended Nan Tien Institute for its achievements in nurturing talent through education. Notably, the speech has been included in the government’s Hansard reporting system for permanent preservation, making it an official record.
