On 21 August, The Hon. Chris Minns, Premier of New South Wales, presented the NSW Premier's Award to Nan Tien Temple at the Premier's Office. Venerable Man Ko, Chief Abbess of Fo Guang Shan Australia and New Zealand, accepted the award on behalf of the temple. This accolade celebrates Nan Tien Temple's significant contributions to multicultural interaction, education, charity, and tourism in the Illawarra region. The award also highlights the dedicated efforts of Nan Tien Temple and the Buddha's Light International Association (BLIA) Sydney over the past thirty years in enhancing community life and fostering an inclusive, diverse society in New South Wales.
