4月25日澳紐軍團紀念日，雪梨南區佛光童軍團長方婉晶率領團員、童軍領袖與家長，聯同國際佛光會雪梨協會南區分會幹部等50餘人，清晨5時參加Kogarah區黎明紀念儀式（ANZAC Dawn Service）。隊伍首先在Hurstville紀念公園參與追思儀式，行義童軍代表在軍人紀念碑前獻花、全場肅立默哀並齊唱國歌。隨後參與遊行並在Kogarah社區紀念活動中，郭洪榕及羅浮童軍在紀念碑前獻上花環。新南威爾斯州州長The Hon. Chris Minns MP親臨現場，與佛光童軍合影，共同悼念先烈並祈求世界和平。

On 25 April, ANZAC Day, BLIA Sydney Kogarah Scout leader Jing Fang led scouts, leaders, parents, and members of BLIA Sydney Southern Sub-chapter—over 50 people in total—to the ANZAC Dawn Service in Kogarah at 5 am. The group began at Hurstville Memorial Park, where a Scout representative laid flowers at the war memorial, followed by a minute of silence and the singing of the national anthem. They then participated in the parade and, and during the Kogarah community memorial event, Dona Guo and Rover Scout placed a wreath at the cenotaph. The Hon. Chris Minns MP, Premier of New South Wales, also attended the ceremony, joining the Buddha's Light Scouts for photos and taking part in honouring those who served and praying for world peace.
