5月4日雪梨達令港佛誕節慶典上舉行「雪梨佛光童軍授證」儀式，佛光山澳紐總住持滿可法師、新南威爾斯州南岸Tablelands區童軍專員Jarratt Hogarth及200人見證26位童軍及7位領袖授證。自2017年成立的佛光童軍團積極參與社區活動，包括澳紐軍團日節、清潔日及慈善籌款等。童軍專員Jarratt Hogarth表示將協助在臥龍崗地區成立新的佛光童軍團，很期待佛光童軍與南天寺的合作。

On 4 May, during the Buddha's Birthday celebration at Darling Harbour, Sydney, "Buddha's Light Scouts Investiture" ceremony was held. Attended by Venerable Man Ko, Chief Abbess of Fo Guang Shan Australia and New Zealand; Jarratt Hogarth, District Commissioner for South Coast and Tablelands; and approximately 200 guests, the event saw 26 scouts and 7 leaders officially inducted. Since its founding in 2017, Buddha's Light Scouts have been actively involved in community initiatives, including Australia-New Zealand Scout Day, community clean-up events, and charity fundraising. Scout Commissioner Jarratt Hogarth expressed his plans to help establish a new Fo Guang Scout group in Wollongong and shared his excitement about future collaboration between Scouts and Nan Tien Temple.
