Fo Guang Shan Nan Tien Temple hosted two Buddhist Weddings, highlighting the rooted faith within Fo Guang families. On 14 February, Kai Yuan Zheng, a former BLIA-YAD president, and Peipei Pan, a dedicated volunteer, expressed their gratitude to their family and friends with a heartfelt tea ceremony. Venerable Zhi Li, Director for Social Education of Nan Tien Temple, beautifully wove the art of tea with timeless principles of marriage in this two-day wedding arrangement. The next day, the official wedding day on 15 February, the couple exchanged vows under the blessings of Venerable Man Ko, Chief Abbess of Fo Guang Shan Australia and New Zealand, surrounded by nearly 150 family members and friends. Another Buddhist wedding on 1 March, Lisa Teng, Vice President of the BLIA Sydney Association, and Joel Mendes made a solemn and heartfelt commitment to each other in front of the Buddha, under the witness of Venerable Jue Ning, Superintendent of Nan Tien Temple.
