On 15 December 2024, Fo Guang Shan Nan Tien Temple held the "Year-End Commemoration of Ancestor Dharma Function" at the Main Shrine. Venerable Man Ko, Chief Abbess of Fo Guang Shan Australia and New Zealand, presided over the ceremony, dedicating the merits of repentance to ancestors for them to "see the Buddha in the lotus realm", and for the Buddha's light to shine upon all, bringing peace to families and harmony to society. The ceremony attracted over 200 attendees in person, while the live stream allowed devotees worldwide to join in this meaningful occasion.
