On 1 February, Fo Guang Shan Nan Tien Temple hosted the "Offering to Buddhas and Celestial Guardians Dharma Service for Blessings and Merit", led by Venerable Man Ko, Chief Abbess of Fo Guang Shan Australia and New Zealand. Over 300 devotees attended with deep devotion, offering prayers and making offerings to the Three Jewels. They prayed for favourable weather, a world free from conflict, and greater harmony in society.
