On 11 August 2024, the Buddha's Light International Association (BLIA) Sydney Chapter held the "2024 Offering to Sangha Ceremony In Commemoration of Venerable Master Hsing Yun's Birthday" at Fo Guang Shan Nan Tien Temple. Nearly 600 participants gathered for the occasion. Venerable Man Ko, Chief Abbess of Fo Guang Shan Australia and New Zealand, shared insights on the profound benefits of offering to the Sangha, including cultivating wisdom, promoting longevity, enhancing physical and mental well-being, and fostering career success. The event featured a screening of Venerable Master Hsing Yun's sharing about "Field of Merit". The Young Adult Division (BLIA-YAD), Buddha's Light Scouts, and BLIA sub-chapters paid tribute to the late Venerable Master through musical and sign language performances. Attendees joyfully involved themselves in the almsgiving ceremony, deepening their connection to the Buddha-Dharma and planting seeds of merit.
