首屆「中澳新佛教論壇」8月5日由中國佛教協會會長演覺長老率領400多位法師、學者及貴賓參訪佛光山南天寺，佛光山澳紐總住持滿可法師及200多位僧信熱烈歡迎。佛光山住持心保和尚透過視訊表示，論壇促進社會和諧與世界和平。代表團觀看南天寺30年弘法歷程短片，滿可法師贈送佛光山開山祖師星雲大師《心經》墨寶，演覺長老回贈觀音菩薩畫像。中國佛教協會副會長正慈和尚讚賞大師在海外弘法成就。

On August 5, the inaugural Australia China New Zealand Buddhist Forum, led by Elder Venerable Yan Jue, President of the Chinese Buddhist Association, hosted a visit to Fo Guang Shan Nan Tien Temple. Over 400 monks, scholars, and distinguished guests participated, warmly welcomed by Venerable Man Ko, Chief Abbess of Fo Guang Shan Australia and New Zealand, along with more than 200 monastics and lay practitioners. Venerable Hsin Bau, Head Abbot of Fo Guang Shan, expressed via video message that the forum promotes social harmony and world peace. The delegation watched a short film recounting Nan Tien Temple’s 30 years of Dharma propagation. Venerable Man Ko presented a calligraphy of the Heart Sutra by Venerable Master Hsing Yun, the Founding Master of Fo Guang Shan. Elder Venerable Yan Jue reciprocated with a painting of Guanyin Bodhisattva. Vice President of the Buddhist Association of China, Venerable Zheng Ci, praised Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s achievements in spreading Dharma overseas.
