新南威爾斯州 Parramatta 區州議員 Ms Donna Davis MP 與 Cumberland 警區代表 Glen Dawson，6月12日蒞臨佛光山南天講堂，與南天講堂住持覺善法師及國際佛光會雪梨協會副督導長洪永禮等座談，共同探討治安因應對策。覺善法師對 Parramatta 地區近期槍擊事件與青少年犯罪問題表達關注，希望政府、警方與民間力量攜手合作，共同守護社區安全。

On 12 June, Ms. Donna Davis MP, Member for Parramatta, and Acting Inspector Glen Dawson of the Cumberland Police Area Command visited Fo Guang Shan Nan Tien Buddhist Temple Parramatta. During the visit, Venerable Chueh Shan, Abbess of Fo Guang Shan Nan Tien Buddhist Temple Parramatta, and Vincent Hong, Vice President of BLIA Sydney Chapter, participated in a roundtable discussion to explore strategies for enhancing community safety. Venerable Chueh Shan expressed concern over recent shooting incidents and youth crime in the Parramatta area. She emphasized the need for close collaboration among government, law enforcement, and community groups to work together to safeguard the safety and well-being of local residents.
