澳洲新南威爾斯州長 The Hon. Chris Minns MP 於1月31日偕同喬治河市議員 Clr. Ashvini Ambihaipahar 特別拜訪佛光山南雪梨佛光緣，與佛光山澳紐總住持滿可法師等近50人共度農曆新年。 州長讚揚南雪梨佛光緣為優秀鄰居，肯定其凝聚社區的功能及佛光童軍的無我奉獻精神。滿可法師贈送星雲大師墨寶「向前有路，光明在望」及「2024南天寺弘法報告」，並與州長共同為祥獅點睛。此訪展現州政府對佛教及多元文化的尊重。

On 31 January, The Hon. Chris Minns MP, the Premier of New South Wales, joined nearly 50 people on a special visit to Fo Guang Shan Nan Tien Buddhist Temple Kogarah. Accompanied by George River City Councillor Ashvini Ambihaipahar, the Premier celebrated the Lunar New Year alongside Venerable Man Ko, Chief Abbess of Fo Guang Shan Australia and New Zealand. The Premier praised Nan Tien Temple as an outstanding community neighbour, recognising its role in fostering community cohesion and the selfless dedication of the Buddha’s Light Scouts. Venerable Man Ko presented calligraphy by Venerable Master Hsing Yun, inscribed with “Keep Going, the Future is Bright,” along with the 2024 Nan Tien Temple Dharma Propagation Report. The visit concluded with an "eye-dotting" ceremony and a mutual commitment to promote tolerance and respect for faiths and multiculturalism.
