新加坡國立大學高級研究員許源泰教授8月13日率馬來西亞新山大同書院43人團隊參訪佛光山南天寺及佛光山南天大學，佛光山澳紐總住持滿可法師接待並介紹南天寺發展歷程。許教授讚嘆佛光山開山祖師星雲大師海外弘法及人間佛教在澳洲的本土化成就。

On 13 August, Professor Xu Yuantai, Senior Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore, led a delegation of 43 from Da Thong Academy of Johor Bahru, Malaysia, to visit Fo Guang Shan Nan Tien Temple and Nan Tien Institute. They received a warm welcome from Venerable Man Ko, Chief Abbess of Fo Guang Shan Australia and New Zealand, who provided an overview of the temple’s development. Professor Xu expressed admiration for Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s efforts in spreading Dharma globally and praised the success of Humanistic Buddhism’s localisation in Australia.
