On 3 March, Australia’s Vox FM, invited Venerable Zhi Li, Director for Social Education of Nan Tien Temple, to discuss the upcoming 2025 International Women’s Day Charity Event. Venerable Zhi Li shared insights on how Humanistic Buddhism promotes gender equality, highlighting the Buddha’s core teaching of “all beings are equal” and Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s emphasis on empowering women across all fields. The event will feature activities such as Tai Chi, meditation, chanting, light offerings, and a movie premiere. The funds raised will donated to Women Illawarra, supporting its multifaceted services for local women, embodying the spirit of “Oneness and Coexistence.”
