Fo Guang Shan Nan Tien Temple and the Buddha Light International Association (BLIA) Sydney Chapter will host the 31st Buddha’s Birthday Multicultural Festival on 3–4 May at Darling Harbour, Sydney. On 22 April, a press conference was held at Fo Guang Shan Nan Tien Buddhist Temple Chatswood. Venerable Man Ko, Chief Abbess of Fo Guang Shan Australia and New Zealand, and Venerable Jue Fang, General Manager of Hsing Yun Education Foundation, briefed reporters from Chinese-language newspapers, radio, television, and online media about the significance and main highlights of the Buddha’s Birthday celebrations.
