佛光山南天大學人間佛教中心主任覺瑋法師連續接受澳洲國家廣播電台專訪，從佛教觀點回應AI發展、多元文化共融及現代僧侶角色等當代議題，展現佛教智慧與現代社會的深度對話，體現人間佛教積極入世、服務社會的精神。 瑋法師11月14日受邀澳洲國家廣播電台 Soul Search 節目，從佛教「無我」與「緣起」觀點分析AI影響，強調培養慈悲智慧的重要性，並提醒過度使用AI可能取代真實人際互動。南天寺第28屆文藝季12月25日開幕當日，澳洲國家廣播電台耶誕節目主持人 Alice Walker 訪問覺瑋法師，了解佛教徒如何度過耶誕節。法師表示佛教與天主教 均致力促進和平與希望，南天寺舉辦多元文化活動，鼓勵社區參與跨年朝山、獻燈和敲鐘。覺瑋法師1月31日再次接受澳洲國家廣播電台訪問，探討現代僧侶如何應對人工智慧等議題。法師表示人間佛教重視善用科技，同時強調簡單生活、服務社會的價值。

Venerable Dr. Jue Wei, Director of the Nan Tien Institute’s Humanistic Buddhism Centre, was interviewed consecutively by Australia’s national radio station. She discussed contemporary issues such as AI development, multicultural integration, and the role of modern monks from a Buddhist perspective, showcasing a deep dialogue between Buddhist wisdom and modern society, and embodying the humanistic Buddhist spirit of active social involvement and service. Venerable Dr. Jue Wei was invited to Australia's national radio program, Soul Search, to discuss “The Future of Humanity in the Age of AI.” She examined AI's impact through Buddhist views of "non-self" and "dependent origination," emphasising the importance of cultivating compassion and wisdom, and cautioning that over-reliance on AI may diminish genuine human interactions. On 25 December, during the opening day of the 28th Cultural Festival at Fo Guang Shan Nan Tien Temple, Alice Walker, host of Australia’s national radio Christmas program, interviewed Venerable Dr. Jue Wei. The discussion focused on how Buddhists observe Christmas. Venerable Dr. Jue Wei highlighted that both Buddhism and Christianity share the goals of promoting peace and hope. She also mentioned that Nan Tien Temple organises various multicultural activities, inviting the community to participate in year-end temple pilgrimages, light offerings, and bell tolling, all of which foster unity and mutual understanding. On 31 January, Venerable Jue Wei was again interviewed by Australia’s national radio station to discuss how contemporary monks respond to issues such as artificial intelligence. She emphasised that Humanistic Buddhism values the positive use of technology while also highlighting the importance of simple living and serving society.
