Venerable Dr. Yung Dong, professor at Fo Guang University, delivered a Dharma talk on "Chan Contemplation on Living and Dying in Buddhism" at Fo Guang Shan Nan Tien Buddhist Temple Parramatta on 28 July, attended by 232 participants. She described death as akin to returning home and provided an in-depth explanation on the physiological and psychological responses during the final stages of life. Using a humorous and engaging approach, Venerable Yung Dong unraveled the mysteries of life and death, inspiring attendees to reflect deeply on the meaning of life.
