On December 7, the Nan Tian Chinese School of Sydney hosted a lively gala performance at Fo Guang Shan Nan Tien Buddhist Temple Chatswood, with 110 guests in attendance. Students showcased their talents through poetry recitations, sign language songs, and traditional dragon and lion dances. Venerable Chueh Shan, the deputy principal of the school, emphasized the importance of Chinese cultural education and the principles of the "Three Acts of Goodness." Federal Member of Parliament Dr. Andrew Charlton presented participation certificates and commended community language schools for their vital role in promoting multicultural understanding.
