To foster global Buddhist dialogue and academic exchange, HYEF sponsored the Humanistic Buddhism Colloquium in November 2024. Organised by the Humanistic Buddhism Centre at Nan Tien Institute in collaboration with several international academic institutions, the forum centred on the theme 'Compassionate Futures', exploring how Humanistic Buddhism can respond to contemporary challenges. Held as a 24-hour, cross-time-zone relay event, this online colloquium attracted nearly 600 participants and featured over 40 expert speakers addressing topics such as climate change and social inequality. Through this initiative, HYEF aims to foster cross-cultural and interfaith exchange, broaden the global reach of Humanistic Buddhism, and enhance its positive impact on modern society.
