Supporting Youth Learning and Sustainable Values
基金會支持文化教育與環境永續，贊助「2024年世界佛光童軍大露營」，活動於7月3日至7日假南天寺舉行，吸引來自美國、加拿大、台灣等地逾230位佛光童軍共襄盛舉。課程融合原住民文化、寺院生態導覽與環保教育，增進青少年對多元文化與佛教生態觀的理解與實踐。基金會期盼透過支持國際青少年交流平台，傳承人間佛教的慈悲精神與永續理念，培養具全球視野與行動力的未來人才。
To promote cultural education and environmental awareness, HYEF sponsored the 2024 BLIA Scouts World Camp, held at Nan Tien Temple from July 3 to 7. The event welcomed over 230 BLIA Scouts from the U.S., Canada, Taiwan, and beyond. Activities included Indigenous culture workshops, temple eco-tours, and sustainability classes, fostering cross-cultural understanding and ecological mindfulness. By supporting youth exchanges rooted in Humanistic Buddhist values, HYEF aims to cultivate compassionate, globally minded future leaders committed to sustainable living.
