生命的永續經營：
「人間佛教生死學工作坊」
Organising the On Life and Death Workshop
基金會推動「生命的永續經營」，深化社會大眾對生死議題的正確認知。2025年4月初，基金會聯合南天大學與佛光山南華大學人間佛教研究中心，於南天寺舉辦三天「人間佛教生死學工作坊」，吸引近180位學員線上線下參與。生死學泰斗慧開法師結合星雲大師教誨，闡釋「生死一體、永續經營」理念，分享六千萬心法，引導大眾以正念面對生死。課程涵蓋醫療與法律實務，促進跨領域交流。課後，課程影片亦於4月25日至27日於西澳道場播放，40位信徒共學共修。基金會藉此持續拓展生命教育，提升大眾生命素養，培養積極正向的生死觀。
In April 2025, HYEF co-organised a three-day workshop titled On Life and Death: A Humanistic Buddhism Perspective with Nan Tien Institute and the Centre for the Study of Humanistic Buddhism at Nanhua University. Held at Nan Tien Temple, the workshop welcomed nearly 180 onsite and online participants. Venerable Dr. Huei Kai, a leading authority in Life and Death Studies, offered profound insights on viewing life and death as an integrated whole, drawing from Venerable Master Hsing Yun's teachings and sharing practical approaches to sustainable life management. The program also included medical and legal perspectives, fostering meaningful interdisciplinary dialogue. To extend its reach, recorded sessions were screened from 25 to 27 April at Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple Western Australia, with 40 participants engaging in in-person learning. HYEF remains committed to advancing life education and nurturing deeper awareness and acceptance of life and death in today's society.
