To mark its 10th anniversary, Humanistic Buddhism Centre at Nan Tien Institute held a two-day review and development workshop from 24 to 25 June. The Centre invited Professor Leo Lefebure, Matteo Ricci Chair of Theology at Georgetown University and President of the American Theological Society, to provide an external evaluation of the Centre’s progress. Venerable Man Ko, Chief Abbess of Fo Guang Shan Australia and New Zealand, and Venerable Dr. Jue Wei, Director of the Humanistic Buddhism Centre, attended the review workshop. Venerable Dr. Jue Wei provided an overview of the Centre’s development over the past decade, highlighting achievements in three key areas: academic research, resource development, and community engagement.
